The recent bushfires across Victoria have had a devastating impact on individuals, families and farming communities, particularly in regional areas. As a firm with strong ties to rural and regional Victoria, we are deeply aware of the challenges these communities face – not only during the immediate crisis but in the long recovery that follows.
At Danaher Moulton, we believe it is important to provide practical, meaningful support where we can. In response to the current bushfire situation, our firm has made several commitments to assist those affected, particularly within farming and regional communities.
Practical support on the ground
To help address immediate needs, Danaher Moulton has:
- Donated 15 large bales of hay from a staff member’s farm to support farmers who have lost feed and resources as a result of the fires.
- Offered the use of a staff member’s farm for agistment, providing temporary support for livestock displaced or affected by fire conditions.
These contributions are aimed at easing some of the immediate pressures faced by farmers and rural families during an incredibly difficult time.
Free legal assistance for bushfire victims
In addition to practical support, Danaher Moulton is offering free legal services to individuals and businesses affected by the bushfires. We understand that bushfire recovery often brings complex legal issues, including insurance claims, property matters, leases, employment concerns and business disruption.
Standing with our community
Bushfires have a lasting impact well beyond the immediate emergency. As a firm, we are committed to standing alongside our community, not just during times of crisis but throughout the rebuilding and recovery process.
If you or someone you know has been affected by the bushfires and requires assistance, please contact Dennis Danaher or Andrew Ham to discuss how we may be able to help or to recommend our other trusted advisors.
