Introduction

Peter is a lawyer with a deep personal understanding of business and legal issues: experience that enables him to provide specialised advice on growing, acquiring, selling and restructuring businesses. His focus is on ensuring the commercial success of his clients. Peter’s approach is informed by over 3 decades of experience working in senior executive roles: C level roles in public companies, a national law firm, insolvency practitioner, a venture capitalist and as a strategic advisor to Melbourne research institute and SMEs.  He has also served as a director on public and private companies.

Recent projects / Experience

Working with a private capital provider/family office through multiple secured convertible note facilities and other debt arrangements (between $2m and $5m) to support emerging and fast growing private companies, including initial investment, restructures and exits.

Assisting the Board of an international diversified manufacturer and distributor through the review of its corporate governance, and implementation of suitable structures for evolution from a family company to a modern corporate structure.

Supporting a promoter of diversified real estate investment projects through joint venture agreements, operating agreements and debt financing through multiple consortia and multiple projects between $2m and $15m.
