Partner
Property / Private Clients
Andrew Power is a Partner in Danaher Moulton’s Property team. For almost 15 years, he has advised private clients, property developers and businesses across a wide range of commercial and residential property matters.
Andrew plays a hands-on role in complex site acquisitions and disposals, development transactions and compulsory acquisition projects across Victoria.
He is known for a sharp, commercial approach—focusing on outcomes that reflect the practical realities of a deal, not just the legal theory. Clients value his ability to communicate clearly with everyone involved in a matter.
Andrew’s Compulsory Acquisition expertise—and the specialist relationships he has built across that industry for over a decade—are a particular point of difference, allowing him to coordinate the right advisers early and drive a clear strategy through to resolution.
Andrew joined Danaher Moulton in December 2025 and leads the firm’s Property Team.
He developed his leadership early, having been appointed a Partner at a previous Victorian mid-tier firm in 2019.
He is active in the broader property profession, including assisting with industry resources and practitioner guidance (including work connected with precedent development for the LIV and practitioner checklists for the LPLC), and contributing practitioner insights to research relating to compulsory acquisition regimes in Australia.
Outside the office, Andrew is President of the School Council at Oakleigh South Primary School. He enjoys AFL, cricket and golf, and is a family man with three young children.
